BEIJING, July 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- This is a report from China.org.cn:
The China-Brazil Economic and Trade Forum and a roadshow for the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in São Paulo, Brazil on March 28.
More than 100 representatives of trade and investment promotion organizations, business associations and enterprises from China and Brazil attended.
Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), stated that China and Brazil are good friends despite the distance between them. He also highlighted that China wants to work with Brazil to create new cooperation opportunities, strengthen industrial and supply chain connections, and develop new forms of multilateral partnership.
Brazilian officials noted that amid global changes, China-Brazil trade relations have demonstrated resilience and complementary strengths, particularly in green development, high-value industries and supply chain coordination.
Organizations and enterprises from China and Brazil signed several cooperation agreements on-site, including deals on agri-food procurement, mining cooperation, and participation in the upcoming CISCE, totaling over $2 billion.
The third CISCE is set for July 16-20, 2025, in Beijing. The event will feature six key industrial chains — advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart vehicles, digital technology, healthy life and green agriculture — and include a supply chain service area.
